A Celebration of Life because it's More Than Just a Jump
There is perhaps no better way for the RCPT-USA family to honor Bill Markham than by doing what he loved most—bringing teammates together, filling the manifest, and sharing the camaraderie that made our team a family.
This event has been rebranded as the Bill Markham Celebration Jump, a celebration of the life, leadership, and legacy of the man who transformed RCPT-USA into what it is today.
Bill never wanted the focus to be on himself. He wanted us to jump, to laugh, to tell stories, and to build relationships that lasted long after the parachutes were packed away. He challenged us with one of his favorite questions:
"Are we a jump team... or what?"
His answer was always the same—fill the manifest first.
So that's exactly what we're going to do.
We'll take to the skies aboard the historic C-47 Skytrain Tico Belle, get our knees in the breeze, and spend the day doing what Bill loved most: jumping with friends. When the flying is finished, we'll gather overlooking Kay Larkin Field to break bread, drink beer, tell lies, and share Bill Stories with love and laughter. Filling the evening with countless stories that made Bill such a memorable part of all our lives.

Jump Type: Static-line land jump (no water jumps)

Cost: $150 (includes lift ticket, parachute rental, and packing)

Jump Operations: Approximately 1000 until completion (weather dependent)

Second Jump: Available if time weather and space permits

This is not a training event—no student instruction or progression jumps

Prepayment is required to reserve your slot
This is not intended to replace the memorial arrangements being made by Bill's family. Those plans will be shared as they become available. This is RCPT-USA's opportunity to celebrate Bill in the way he would have appreciated most—surrounded by his teammates, under round canopies, with a C-47 overhead and friends beside him.
Come prepared to jump. Come prepared to laugh. Come prepared to tell a few stories.
